It went and kissed my living breath

It was not born with me,
Nor my body was made to sustain it
It never helped me to improve myself emotionally or intelligently
It is not at all a companion during my sorrows or my victories
Every moment I took it in to my hands it waged a war on me
It suffocated my body, it contaminated my blood
It went and kissed my living breath and whispered death
Ohh how many times I called myself a fool
For buying cancer and carrying it in my pocket
Ohh! How many times I asked myself why is it so difficult to quit
Why is it so difficult to stop pumping nicotine into my lungs?
All through I knew that I can do anything I want to with it,
I can light, I can kiss it, I can crush it
All I forgot is that I can  tell that it is the dust bin where you should go
NOT MY BODY – now I am saying   :-)

Flowers smell blood

God, that mother is still awaiting the return of her son went out to get medicine,
that toddler still waiting for his father who promised him a chocolate,
Please can somebody tell that young lady, she does not have to wait for her husband and she is widow from now,
please can someone dare to carry the news to this vegetable vendor's family,
oh! How can anybody tell this priest that god was too busy and could not listen to his prayers?
Who destroyed the dreams of this young couple …..
these bunch flowers has no fragrance, they smell blood,
look at this boy ..looks like had a sleepless night in the anxiety of exams, he does not have to worry about them anymore,
Chaiwala you don’t have to wake up 4 AM any longer,
that baby is crying , oh god what can replace the lap of her mother,
oh this innocent guy calling his sister – brother you won’t be able to talk to her in your life time again
I have no fear – how can anybody kill who is already dead

Stand at ease :-)
